New National Study on Sustainable Consumption 2025
The “Sustainable Consumers Barometer 2025” is the first nationally representative survey conducted by ESG Lab, exploring Bulgarians’ attitudes and behaviors toward sustainable transformation. The sample includes respondents from various age groups, educational levels, professional statuses, and regions, encompassing students, working adults, and retirees alike.
The presentation of the data is part of the calendar of the World Consumer Rights Day, celebrated annually on March 15. This year, under the global theme “Fair Transition to a Sustainable Lifestyle,” the study aims to provide up-to-date insights into society’s understanding of and readiness to adopt sustainable practices.
By linking the findings to SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production, the research reaffirms ESG Lab’s commitment to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and reflects the specific dimensions of sustainability within the Bulgarian context.
